Sailing across the Atlantic ocean, we finally arrived in the Azores for a week-long stay.
On the course of my 70 day seamester program, we left the BVIs and crossed the Atlantic during a 17 day passage.
After two months back home, I am back out into the world. This time, I am in the British Virgin Islands and am spending those days on Vela, a college summer program hosted on a sailboat, before our departure to the Azores.
My few weeks in Turkey were a wonderful end to my seven-month backpacking trip. Read along as I detail my travels from Istanbul to the Anatolian coast and Cappadocia with my friend Emma.
